Hi, I’m Audra Glunt, DNP, PMHNP-BC, an integrative psychiatric nurse practitioner who believes traditional medication management, paired with nutrition, therapy, and mindfulness, can transform mental health. I see adults 18+ in Florida via telehealth, bringing nearly 20 years of experience across diverse settings—addiction treatment, corrections, outpatient clinics, and hospital care. My journey started later in life: after teaching healthcare software at a tech firm, I dove into nursing school in my 30s, where a mental health rotation ignited my passion. That led me to earn a Doctor of Nursing Practice, conducting thousands of evaluations, managing meds, and serving as adjunct faculty teaching graduate-level courses in neurobiology, psychopharmacology, personality disorders, and nursing research.
My own struggles with depression, anxiety, and a negative relationship with food fuel my compassionate, non-judgmental care. I’ve been a mom for 30+ years (two little ones, two grown sons), and I love crocheting, dancing, and Florida’s outdoor life. At Food For Thought, I partner with you to craft a wellness plan—whether it’s tackling anxiety, trauma, or depression with carnivore/ketogenic diets and other treatment methods. Let’s uncover what lifts you up.
